Details: Amesbury Days is a 110 year tradition in Amesbury. Beginning in 1899 as a one day festival for employees of the city’s various mills, Amesbury Days has grown into a multi-day program of events, activities and celebrations drawing people from within and around the city.

Kicking off the celebration is the annual Block Party. Sponsored by the Amesbury Chamber of Commerce, the Block Party has food from some of Amesbury’s best restaurants, live music, carriage rides for the kids, and more.

Amesbury Days offers every member of the family something fun to do. The eleven-day celebration includes beach parties, Kids Day in the Park, local museum open houses, live music, picnics and more!

Each year’s celebration concludes with the Fireworks Finale, a fantastic fireworks display at Woodsom Farm. This year’s show is bigger and better than ever, due to the generous donations of local businesses and residents. One of the few remaining fireworks displays on the 4th of July and , the spectacular show of lights and sounds continues to grow for the crowds delight.
