Details:Emma’s Revolution is the award winning duo of Pat Humphries and Sandy O whose songs have been sung for the Dalai Lama, praised by Pete Seeger and covered by Holly Near. Their music delivers the energy and strength of their convictions in an uprising of truth and hope for these tumultuous times. Emma’s Revolution performs Friday October 12, 7:30PM at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Annapolis, 333 Dubois Road. This is a benefit concert for the Unitarian Universalist Legislative Ministry of Maryland. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door and $18 for students/low income. Emma’s Revolution’s latest CD, Revolution Now, has garnered acclaim from radio stations across the country focusing on folk and acoustic music: Top Artist #20, Top Album #24 and Top Song #25 “Sing People Sing” which is a loving tribute to the late Pete Seeger, a friend and mentor. Revolution Now was released at the inside-the Washington-DC beltway UnNaugural Concert on January 20, 2017.

Touring year round, Emma’s Revolution has performed at thousands of events throughout the US and around the world in Canada, Chile, Korea, Scotland, England, Israel/Palestine, Nicaragua and Cuba, spreading their message of peace and justice. They are winners of the Grand Prize in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest and the first Phil Ochs Award. Their music has been featured on NPR's “All Things Considered” and Pacifica's “Democracy Now!” and the duo were featured performers at the Parliament of the World’s Religions performing to an audience of 10,000.
