Tempest Storm's Las Vegas Burlesque Revue is 90 minutes of sizzling classic burlesque, featuring the best in the business. The revue premiered Nov. 7, 2010 at Portland Maine's Merrill Auditorium and Nov. 14 at Beverly's North Shore Music Theatre. Miss Storm is regarded as the greatest burlesque dancer in American history. She was the only burlesque dancer to striptease on the stage of Carnegie Hall in New York. She is in the Burlesque Hall of Fame. She is the 2011 nominee to have her star on the Las Vegas Walk of Fame succeeding last year’s recipients, Gloria and Amelio Estefan. Miss Storm was the girlfriend of Elvis Presley for two years. This unique on stage event is produced by Harvey Robbins who has produced the Royalty of Doo-Wopp concerts for 25 years. “I saw Tempest Storm perform as a young man and met her again two years ago. I became re-familiarized with the classic art form of Burlesque that was in its prime back in the 1950’s. The music of that era and this wonderful art form of dance and expression are priceless gems in American music and theater that are re-engaging young women in dance classes at studios across the country. I believe audiences will appreciate the beauty of the art form." |
