Joe Wong is a young new comedian whose act and popularity is steadily on the rise, and soon to break into national stardom. His jokes range from ethnic, personal, political, and observational to bizarre. It is not easy to categorize his humor, but it is always inspired. After moving to Boston in late 2001, he has quickly become a Boston favorite, winning the Lizard Lounge weekly comedy contest six times. After appearing on Comcast, Joe was a finalist in the 2003 Boston Comedy Festival among some 300 contestants from all over the country. During this competition, scouts from NBC and CBS, as well as newspaper reporters, began to take notice. In the 2005 Boston Comedy Festival, Joe participated in the Dave Letterman Showcase. The following year he was feature in two magazines and the NECN and ABC TV stations. April 14, 2009 Joe appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman. Since 2009 He has appeared on Ellen and her Variety Show twice and will be in the limelight at the International Newcasters Awards with Barak O'Bama in January 2010.
