Details:In this program, designed for adults and families, you'll learn how to identify some familiar feathered friends and then practice your bird ID skills in Franklin Park!

In this program, participants will collect data from bird sightings and submit it to the Cornell Lab of Ornithology's "Celebrate Urban Birds" citizen science project. Citizen science is data collection made by the public that's used by scientists in the field, and in this case, to help conserve and protect local urban bird species.

Each participant will receive a free Bird ID Kit from Cornell's Lab of Ornithology. This program also includes refreshments and a live animal encounter.

***Recommended for ages: 10 years old and up.
