Join us this Winter in the Lodge for a series of visual art workshops. Includes all art materials and a drink voucher.

December 3rd Acrylic on Canvas - Students will learn basic acrylic painting techniques, which will be applied to their own finished paintings. One 8x10 canvas and canvas paper will be provided, along with all painting materials. Any additional surfaces can also be brought to class. $45/student

December 10th Printmaking Exploration - Students will carve their own linoleum blocks and create a unique edition of prints! Each student will leave with their artwork, linoleum block, carving tools and a fabric pouch to store everything in! $45/student

December 17th Intro to Watercolor - Students will learn basic watercolor techniques and then complete a small series of watercolor paintings! $40/student

January 7th Collage & Mixed Media Exploration ~ Students will explore different papers and materials to create layered mixed-media compositions. $40/student

January 14th DIY Printmaking ~ Students will explore traditional and non-traditional printmaking techniques that can easily be done at home! $45/student

January 21st Intro to Watercolor - Students will learn basic watercolor techniques and then complete a small series of watercolor paintings! $40/student

January 28th Still Life Observational Drawing ~ Students will create an engaging still life composition and then depict this design using traditional drawing techniques and materials. $35/student

February 4th Basic Bookmaking ~ Students will learn to make their own books using stab binding techniques. $45/student

February 11th Nature Drawing ~ Students will use beautiful bouquets from Stems as inspiration for detailed observational drawings. Dry and wet media will be used. $40/student

February 18th Abstract Acrylic Paintings ~ Students will explore abstract art and acrylic paint, culminating in their own non-representational painting. $45/student

February 25th Block Printing Tote Bags ~ Students will learn relief printmaking techniques and then apply them to a canvas tote. Additional printing surfaces can be brought to class. $45/student

March 4th Watercolor Resist Paintings ~ Students will explore watercolor painting with a variety of resist materials. $40/student

March 11th Charcoal Portraiture ~ Students will explore this traditional drawing material to create their own self portraits. $35/student

March 18th Collage & Mixed Media Exploration ~ Students will explore different papers and materials to create layered mixed-media compositions. $40/student

March 25th Stencil Exploration on Textiles ~ Students will design and create their own stencils, which will then be used to print their own tote bags. Additional printing surfaces can be brought to class. $45/student
