Details:Trinity Episcopal Church’s annual fall Fayre will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018, in the Parish Hall and Undercroft at 81 Elm Street in Concord (entrance on River St). “We’re one of the few remaining traditional church fairs,” said Cheryl Holbrook, one of the co-chairs of this year’s event. “While many churches offer specialty events showcasing crafts or antiques, we have stayed with the original fair model.”

“People start calling months in advance to find out when the Fayre will be held,” added Carol Burroughs. “There is usually a line at the door, and people make a beeline for our jewelry, treasures, and white elephants.” In addition, Fayre-goers will find a wonderful selection of jams, jellies, and relishes; home-baked goods and Vermont cheddar cheese. Take home a hot, fresh apple pie for dinner, or a frozen one for later. Pick up hand-knit throws, hats, mittens, and sweaters, plus holiday items, toys, sports equipment and games, and books for readers of all ages. Once again we'll have bargain lunch offerings of chili, soup, quiche and hot dogs.

The Fayre opens at 9 am sharp, and ends at 2 pm. A $3 admission gets attendees a free cup of coffee. Grab a fresh cider doughnut from Bolton Spring Farms to go with your coffee.

Funds raised from this event help support Trinity’s outreach programs, which include a monthly soup kitchen, support for schools in Honduras and Rwanda, beds for homeless children in Boston, outreach and educational programs at the Northeast Correctional Institution in Concord, hurricane and tornado relief, and 4 local food pantries in Concord, Maynard, Acton and Bedford.

For more information, call 978-369-3715 or go to www.trinityconcord.org/fayre/. Trinity Episcopal Church is fully handicap-accessible. See you there!
