A Center representative will be on hand to welcome you, give tours, provide information, and answer questions about the Center. Door prizes available.
On April 21st, we will be featuring our Gallery Exhibit – The Evolution of Maritime Art. The exhibit is a joint venture with the Cahoon Museum of Art, the Provincetown Art Association and Museum and the Cape Cod Museum of Art. The exhibit features paintings on loan from the museums as well as contemporary works by Wellfleet artist Megan Hinton. Starting with the classic ships at sea from the turn of the 19th century, this exhibit will highlight contributions made by the American impressionists, modernists and on to expressionist interpretations.
Alan O’Campbell of Grain and Vine Spirit Shoppe will be conducting the wine tasting featuring the Seguras Viudas Cava, Il Prosecco, Batasiolo Moscato Di’Asti and Offley White Port. He’ll provide that tidbit of knowledge you didn’t know you were missing. Music will be provided by Sarah Benoit, a contemporary folk artist. She’s promised to include some sea shanties for all those that have a hankering to sail off into the sunset for the summer. |
