Details: Sail Gloucester will also organize the events and festivals associated with visiting Tall Ships this July in its first ever festival – Sail Gloucester Fourth of July Celebration – from July 4-7, 2009. With one Class A Tall Ship confirmed – the Barque Picton Castle – Sail Gloucester will welcome other Tall Ships based upon availability and first come, first served basis over these festival dates.

SailGloucester’s Fourth of July Celebration activities and events may include:
Welcome of Tall Ships and Sailing Vessels, Saturday, July 4, 2009
Ship Deck Tours, Cruiseport Gloucester located at 6 Rowes Wharf, July 4-6 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Blessing of the Ships, Tuesday, July 7 at 9:30 a.m.
Farewell to Gloucester – Ships Sail South to Boston, Tuesday, July 7, 2009
