Details:36 Questions (or "The Experimental Generation of Interpersonal Closeness") is a world premiere of a new play by Grand Rapids playwright, Cassandra Chance.
In the 1990's, a team of psychologists attempted to create real love in a laboratory setting - and succeeded! In 36 Questions, two college seniors, Cat and Dan, attempt to replicate the experiment - on themselves!
Exploring the themes of self-discovery and love, the play is based upon the scientific study, "The Experimental Generation of Interpersonal Closeness: A Procedure and Some Preliminary Findings," by Arthur Aron, in which a feeling of closeness is created between two individuals through the use of a set of 36 questions which steadily increase in intimacy.
Directed by Ann Celeste Cloyd. Featuring Anessa Johnson and Michael Pollock.
This play contains mature language and themes and is not recommended for children.
