Details:The Festival includes World Whale Day & Parade of Whales -- held every February on the Saturday before Presidents Day.

Parade of Whales
A colorful and lively procession along S. Kihei Road from 9:00am to 10:00am featuring costumed sea characters, marching bands and floats of all shapes and sizes. Prizes were awarded in several categories to participants. Click here for more info.

Keiki Carnival
Kids have a whale of a time at the Keiki Carnival featuring bouncy castles, crafts, games, face painting, cotton candy, shave ice, and plenty of engaging activities for the young and young at heart. New for 2017: Maui Spider Jump. Hawaii’s only reverse bungee system. Jump over 20 feet in to the air and perform gravity-defying maneuvers like flips and somersaults! Also New for 2017: Lei Po'o Station. Make your own unique lei po'o with materials and hands-on instruction provided by Manutea Nui E.

Keiki Stage
Enjoy entertainment on our Keiki Stage throughout the day, including:

Seth Grabel. Acromagic and Illusions, direct from Las Vegas. Known worldwide for his mind-blowing performances on the blockbuster NBC series America's Got Talent, where he stunned the judges and quickly became a fan favorite. Seth brings a hilariously skillful show of "next generation magic" for all ages.

Banana Slug String Band. Duo composed of Doug "Dirt" Greenfield & "Airy" Larry Graff. The pair have toured the Hawaiian Islands for over 20 years running. Now part of a national program called Ocean Literacy, the Banana Slug String Band was commissioned in 2008 by NOAA and the Centers for Ocean Sciences Education Excellence, to produce songs that raise awareness of the watery world we live in.

Keiki Hula. Performances and Music provided by Manutea Nui E, also featured performers on the Main Stage.

Maui Aerial Arts. Compassionate, Challenging and Creative Acrobatics that will dazzle the eye and thrill the mind.

'Ono Food
An array of ono food and tasty treats served all day from popular Maui restaurants and food trucks. Farm-to-table booths offering fresh, locally grown take-home products. Click here for more info on food available at the festival. Outside food, beverages, alcohol and coolers not permitted.

Made on Maui Artisan Fair
The original "Made on Maui" Fair showcases dozens of Maui artisans and their unique, locally crafted wares. Special exhibit space is provided for green businesses and entreprenuers. Click here for more info on Made on Maui.

Savvy shoppers and bargain hunters find great deals on once-in-a-lifetime experiences, gift certificates, world-class dining and entertainment, artwork and more at our Online Auction. All proceeds support Pacific Whale Foundation's non-profit programs. Bidding opens February 12!

World Whale Day’s "Eco Alley" provides free event space to environmental non-profits, businesses and agencies working to protect Maui's natural resources.

Our Wild & Wonderful Whale Regatta is a fun-filled race featuring little rubber whales on a fast-moving watercourse. Sponsor one of these whales to win a free trip to Maui!

Admissions
There is a $5 cash only entrance fee to attend World Whale Day 2017 at Kalama Park. Keiki 12 and under are FREE. Food and activities within the park require scrip, which will be available for purchase on site. ATM's will be stationed adjacent to both park entrances.

NEW FOR 2017- Skip the lines! Pre sale tickets are available for purchase at Pacific Whale Foundation stores in Ma'alaea and Lahaina starting January 1.
