The Sound of Music - Nov. 6-8, 12-15, and 20-22
Theater’s favorite musical family, the von Trapp’s, will bring the hills and Cheney Hall alive with the Sound of Music beginning November 6th. Mike Zizka, a favorite at the Little Theatre of Manchester who last season played King Arthur in “Camelot” will portray Captain von Trapp, with newcomer Jessica Cutino in the role of Maria. The children are played by Jenna Vezina as Liesl, Tommy Curtis as Freidrich, Katie Emery as Louisa, Sawyer Gaunt as Kurt, Maria Meier as Brigitta, Kellen Mitchell as Marta and Jenna Mitchell as Gretl.
The forty-person cast is directed by Michael Forgetta with Paul Coffill as the music director and Todd Santa Maria as choreographer.
The show runs for three weekends beginning November 6th with limited seating because of the rearrangement of the hall’s chairs to provide a center aisle for the production. Tickets range from $28 to $21 with discounts for seniors, students and groups of 20 or more, and can be obtained at the Cheney Hall box office.
