Follow them from New York’s glitzy Park Avenue to the desert vastness of Cairo as they search for the ancient self-juggling Clubs of the Pharaohs, pursued by a fez-toting fat man, a down-on-his-luck gumshoe and a beautiful bearded lady. Feel your heart soar to new heights in a gritty, no-holds-barred love rectangle. This is comedy to die for! This is mystery you won’t want to miss! This is ‘Club Sandwich’! |

First premiered in 1994, “Club Sandwich” is a mix of the best of Karamazov skills: world-class juggling, multi-layered sophisticated/topical/improvisational/silly humor, eccentric music, and dance, and wildly inventive cheap theatrics combined into a delightful., entertaining, apropos, and, well… tasty theatrical sandwich.
Since their inception in 1973 the FKB have premiered over 20 shows and plays. Many of those shows and plays have been on Broadway: “Juggling & Cheap Theatrics” (twice), “Do the Impossible,” “The Comedy of Errors,” and “Sharps, Flats, & Accidentals”). Off Broadway they have played: “The Soldier’s Tale,” “Juggle & Hyde,” “4Play,” and “Life, A Guide for the Perplexed.” They have played London’s West End three times and world wide (on nearly every continent), as well as across the US and Canada in major regional theatres, performing arts centers, and concert halls, with symphony orchestras. They have been seen on national television talk shows, on “Seinfeld” (Season 7, Episode 17), and, of course, on “Mr. Rogers.” On the silver screen, they starred in 20th Century Fox’s “Jewel of the Nile.”
“Club Sandwich” was written by the FKB in Port Townsend, and toured nationally and internationally between the years of 1994 and 1997.
