Details:	Peace Art Partnership In September 2009, the Peace Flag Project began working with several other RI groups to establish the Peace Art Partnership. Our partners are Steve Pennell (URI Feinstein Providence Campus Urban Arts and Culture Program), Rebecca Siemering (Providence Art Windows), Jodi Glass (RI Commission on Prejudice and Bias), and Deanna Camputaro (Arts, Communication, and Teaching Academy of Central Falls High School. “Art opens us up to new ways of thinking about peace….it helps us to see things a fresh way,” says Pennell. The Peace Art Partnership will mount peace art exhibitions in September 2010 in support of Providence’s annual September celebration of the UN International Day of Peace.
