Details:When two rival painters are mistakenly double-booked at a prestigious venue, both artists do whatever it takes to claim the spot as their own, including sabotaging each other's work. Through sarcasm, paint, and ultimately love, these two intellectuals find out exactly what it takes to "make purple".

MICHAEL HERMAN (writer/actor) is a playwright, actor, and screenwriter from St. Joseph, Michigan. He is one of the writers behind James Francos latest film, The Mad Whale, and holds an MFA in screenwriting from the University of Southern California. In addition to his feature success, Michael has also seen publications in theatre (Chasing Clouds, The Blue Rose, and Dead Gallery), comics (Unlawful Good: An Anthology of Crime), and literature (Contract Terror and Speechless). Michael has performed with the Los Angeles based troupe, "The Guild of St. George", and has been featured in countless films and theatrical productions from coast to coast. He is also a member of AGVA from his time at Universal Studios and believes there is no art more precious than collaboration.

JOSIE LAPCZYNSKI (director/actor) is an actress, director, and artist from Pinckney, Michigan. She has graced the stage as the title role in Sylvia, and other leading roles in Bird of Passage, Beyond Therapy, and Frankenstein in Love. She is also a founding member and graphic designer for the Southeast Michigan based theatre troupe, "The Roustabout Theatre Troupe". In addition to her acting success, Josie is also the founder of her own photography business (Acorn Photos) and her own painting store (Art by Josie). She believes that painting, like all art forms, is a beautiful conversation between an artist, their tools, and the subject.
