Details:Inspired by Czech writer Bohumil Hrabal’s experimental novella Too Loud a Solitude, photographer Hana Hamplová (Czech, born 1951) created a memorable body of work during the late 1970s based on the importance of paper and the written word to civilization—including how easily writings, and consequently knowledge, can be lost.
