Details:Manuel Álvarez Bravo (Mexican, 1902–2002) spent the majority of his career, from the 1920s to the 1990s, photographing his native country. Bravo imbued his scenes of everyday life with an otherworldly power, carving out a distinct visual identity that balanced Modernism against mysticism.
