Welcome to the 2009 Sharon Independence Day Celebration
Fireworks will be held on Friday, July 3rd at 9:30 PM
Location: Memorial Park Beach,
Sharon, Massachusetts (see map below for directions)
Yes, we are having all events this year!
We also organize the Sharon 5 Mile Road Race, which is on Sunday, June 28 at 9:00 AM. Click here for more information and to register for the race online.
The celebration is 100% funded by donations.
NOTE: This event occurs on JULY 3rd
FAMILY FUN BEACH EVENTS
2:00pm at Memorial Park Beach, Lake Massapoag. Fun field events for the kids
including, potato sack races, tug-o-war, and other wacky relays!
BICYCLE & DOLL CARRIAGE PARADE
Line-up at Beech Tree Park at 3:45pm. Parade begins at 4:00pm. The parade will
travel on Beach Street to the bandstand. DJ music entertainment. All
entrants will receive a ribbon and ice cream.
LAKESIDE CELEBRATION
Memorial Park Beach, 4:00-9:30pm. Music entertainment, food concession tables,
and more. Bandstand concert 6:30-9:30pm, featuring the Stumbleweeds. Spectacular Fireworks over Lake Massapoag at 9:15pm.
