Longfellow's Wayside Inn is hosting a series of mock battles between various militia companies and the 16th Queen's Light Dragoons on Saturday, November 7th from 10:30am to 3:00pm. Two different battles will take place during the day on the east field of the historic Wayside Inn. Additionally, members of both the Continental Army and the Crown Forces will be on hand to demonstrate a variety of military actions, including drilling and troop formations, inspections, marches, and Revolutionary War fighting tactics.

Colonial music will be performed at 12:30pm by members of the Sudbury Ancient Fyfe and Drum Companie, with seasonal food and drink available for purchase throughout the afternoon. Free and open to the public, the event is sponsored by the Sudbury Companies of Militia & Minute and the 16th Queen's Light Dragoons.
