Join us for a spectacular Harvest Wine Dinner on Wednesday, November 11th, 2009 in the Wayside Inn's beautiful main dining room. Friends and family can gather together to taste the fruits of the wine maker's labor as well as the classic cuisine of America's oldest Inn. The evening begins at 6:15pm with an asssorted cheese & fruit reception which features Villa Sandi Prosecco IGT Brut. Dinner is served at 7:00pm and includes assorted greens with smoked trout & shaved almonds; grilled lamb lollipop chops; pan-roasted duck with cranberry compote over hearty grains and wild mushrooms; wood-grilled venison chop with roasted squash raviolis; and velvety pumpkin cheesecake to end on the perfect seasonal note! Featured wines include Spellbound Chardonnay; Hangtime Pinot Noir; Oberon Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon; and Medusa Zinfandel. The cost is $65 per person by advance registration.
