Billings Farm & Museum Features Wagon Ride Weekends in November
Billings Farm & Museum, gateway to Vermont's Rural heritage, will open for Wagon Ride Weekends every weekend in November, starting on Sunday, November 1st, from 10:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Board the farm wagon pulled by the Percheron teams for a brisk ride around the farm. Rides are offered 10:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. each day.
The final weekend of the month, learn more about late 19th century Thanksgiving traditions during the Farm & Museum's Thanksgiving Weekend on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, November 27 - 29, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The event features costumed guides demonstrating cooking traditional Thanksgiving fare in the farmhouse, holiday programs, and includes horse-drawn wagon rides.
The operating dairy farm and the restored and furnished farmhouse plus programs and activities are included in the entrance fee. For more information: 802-457-2355. |
