| Details: | The Sugar Beats have a Billings heritage. Bobby Brown, Tom Cockrell, Pat Rogers and Lloyd Swords have gigged in and around Billings for years DClub Le Peach, Dr. Pluto, Neo Trio, Beat Meters, The Pugz, Mumblin Eddy, Big Shoes. In 1989 Tom left for the SF Bay Area for a short 35 year hiatus. Bob moved to Coeur dalene a year later. But, in the past 30+ years, none of the guys stopped playing, and when Bob and Tom came back, and realized they could do it again better. They did. So, after grabbing Pat and Lloyd, they are back. The Sugar Beats play an eclectic mix of rock and blues from Alan Toussaint, Albert King, Little Feat, Robben Ford to Roxy Music, Neil Young, The Who, The Beatles, and originals all with a sweet sugar beat spin. No classic rock. No folk songs. The Sugar Beats are just sweet rock and blues.
