| Details: | Labeled "explosive" by the Boston Globe, the two-time New England Music Award nominee Revolutionary Snake Ensemble brings what has become their traditional Boston-area Mardi Gras Party, this time to Scullers Jazz Club. RSE's rousing performances have become a local Mardi Gras custom, with shows that have repeatedly sold out, and rousing performances that are guaranteed to "beat the band".
RSE will be joined by New Orleans veteran saxophonist Amadee Castenell, whose numerous credits include Dr. John, The Neville Bros, Allen Toussaint, Elvis Costello, and many others. Also joining the band will be electrifying vocalist and New Orleans legend Henri Smith.
RSE, led by co-founder Ken Field (saxophone), also includes Jerry Sabatini (trumpet), Dave Harris (trombone & tuba), Blake Newman (bass), and Phil Neighbors (drums). |
