| Details: | Join Boston Self Help Center to celebrate the life and work of Betty Commerford in a 5k run/roll/walk along the scenic Charles River. We will preserve Betty's lifelong legacy of advocacy for those in Boston including individuals with disabilities. Individuals with various abilities are welcome and expected to participate. All proceeds from the event will go to Boston Self Help Center's work with individuals with disabilities and adaptive sports and recreation. This will include support for three power wheelchair soccer teams and volt hockey. We will be following the same route as the Ryan Shaw Memorial 5K Road race. |
