The Tahoe Regional Burners are thrilled to host weekly meetups every Tuesday night at Saltwater Tavern in Carson City your local port for playa planning, connection, and inspiration.
Every Tuesday Now through the Burn of 2025
Meetups start at 6:30 PM

These gatherings are open to everyone from longtime Burners to the Burner-curious and are a perfect place to:
Connect with others heading to Burning Man
Brainstorm art projects and theme camp plans
Share stories, tips, and logistics
Learn about desert camping, surviving high winds, what you need to bring to survive
Find your crew, or just enjoy great company and conversation
Hosted by Troy Morgan, your Tahoe Regional Contact for Burning Man, a 25-year veteran of Black Rock City. For 20 of those years,
Troy has helped build and operate large-scale theme camps in support of the USS Nevada pirate ship of Gallavant and the Viking ship Fjorgyn, bringing epic interactive experiences to the playa.
Now, he's helping anchor the spirit of community right here in Northern Nevada.
Saltwater Tavern owned by local mermaid Jeannie Morgan and long time burner is a welcoming, non-smoking venue with strong drinks, food available thru Grubhub, and better people. Its the perfect space to bring your dusty dreams to life.
