| Details: | The Symphony in the Flint Hills Signature Event is an annual gathering on the prairie celebrating music, art and the ecology of the Flint Hills that moves to a different site each year. Gates open at 1 p.m. and the afternoon will feature a range of experiences including inspirational talks and presentations, covered wagon rides, guided prairie walks and roping with outriders. The Kansas City Symphony will perform an evening concert followed by a Flint Hills sunset. After concert experiences include dancing, stargazing and stories by local musicians and poets. BNSF Railway is the event’s Major Presenting Sponsor. |
