Details:Welcome to a journey of gentle unfolding and deep relaxation. This heart-opening restorative yoga class is designed to create a safe and nurturing space for you to connect with your heart center, release tension, and cultivate a sense of inner peace.

?What is Heart-Opening Restorative Yoga?

Restorative yoga is a practice of complete surrender and passive stretching. Poses are held for longer periods (5-20 minutes) with the support of props like blankets, bolsters, and blocks. This allows your body to completely relax and release tension without any muscular effort.

Heart-opening postures gently expand the chest and shoulders, areas where we often hold stress and emotional blockages. By combining restorative techniques with these specific poses, we can gently release these holding patterns and invite a sense of openness, vulnerability, and self-compassion.

Benefits of Heart-Opening Restorative Yoga:

Reduces stress and anxiety

Calms the nervous system

Improves sleep quality

Releases tension in the chest, shoulders, and back

Cultivates self-compassion and acceptance

Enhances emotional well-being

Promotes a sense of inner peace and contentment

Increases feelings of openness and connection

?What to Expect:

This class is suitable for all levels, including beginners. No prior yoga experience is necessary. You will be guided through a series of gentle, supported postures designed to open the heart and promote deep relaxation.

The class will include:

A centering and breath awareness practice

4-5 restorative yoga poses, held for 5-20 minutes each

Guided meditation/ relaxation techniques

A period of rest in Savasana (corpse pose)

A Heart Chakra crystal for you to keep

?Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing and bring a water bottle. All necessary props will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own blanket or pillow for extra comfort.

Come with an open mind and a willingness to embrace stillness. This is a time to nurture yourself, release what no longer serves you, and reconnect with the wisdom of your heart.

Heart-opening restorative yoga offers a gentle yet powerful path to emotional and physical well-being. By combining the deeply relaxing nature of restorative yoga with postures that encourage openness and vulnerability, this practice invites you to release tension, cultivate self-compassion, and connect with the wisdom of your heart. It is an invitation to slow down, breathe deeply, and nurture yourself from the inside out.
