Bio:
Blasphemy/ KingRuler Bio info: LA native raised in the heart of South Central. Began writing rhymes in the 5th grade heavily influence by Emcees like Melle Mel, Rakim and KRS One. While running a community outreach center called Caticketmasters, since 2010 that specializes in assisting his community with Traffic violations, Blasphemy saw that there was a way to further his mission to make his community and others like it a better place for all through his talent of writing and performing music with a purpose. Blasphemy's music goes against the grain of today's music by speaking to issues that affect us all. He bravely takes on messages that other artists shy away from without sacrificing the Boom bap element of hardcore Hip Hop!

His current project, The Pulpit, takes on heavy subject matters relating to the spiritual advancement of Indigenous people and the return of traditional methods of spiritual worship and how that process looks. This project bravely addresses the effects that contemporary religions the affects it has had on African people since our introduction to them by way of the transatlantic slave trade. More importantly, with tracks like Black Couch, The Pulpit and Come Clean Blasphemy/KingRuler Asks boldly does this adopted ideology serve us any good in today’s times.

After the show, there will be a live DJ set by DJ Vicious Lee to groove to as the celebration of his Album release party continues.
