Award-winning jazz vocalist, bandleader, and songwriter Leslie Vincent's work examines modern love, delivered through a warm alto voice and electric live presence. Blending jazz, swing, blues, pop, and singer-songwriter traditions, Vincent approaches songs as lived stories with sharply defined emotional points of view.
Her third album, "Little Black Book," was released April 17, 2026, via Jazz Is Cool Records. The record was recently featured in DownBeat Magazine and in The Star Tribune as one of the Top Albums of The Year.
“On this collection of originals, she shows more depth and versatility than Laufey, the young jazzy vocalist of the moment.” - Jon Bream
Over the past several years, Vincent has become one of the most recognizable jazz vocalists to emerge, playing in renowned clubs including The Dakota, Blue Llama, and Don?t Tell Mama in New York City, and Noce.
DownBeat Magazine described her as “as much a storyteller as she is a jazz singer,” while The Big Takeover praised her “controlled and beautiful voice, one that sounds timeless.” At press time, Vincent had roughly 49k Instagram followers and 12k monthly Spotify listeners.
