We have made the hard decision to move our awards banquet to September, the date is tentative at this time. This banquet is deep rooted in why this organization was started. To honor excellence in police work throughout the great Commonwealth. Which we will do, in September.

Our annual awards banquet is back in person for the first time since our 20th Anniversary banquet back in 2019.

The past few years we have continued to honor exemplary police work in the Commonwealth since the last in person banquet by going to award recipients respectful departments. We had nice ceremonies and we thank those departments for allowing us to hand our awards.

This is our largest event we host each year. To those who have attended in the past, I'm sure they can share what a nice evening this is.

Nominations for awards will be open until March 15, 2024. At that time, the Awards Committee, which is made up of former Executive Board members, Trustees, and volunteered members in good standing; review all nominations and choose who will be getting which award.

Everyday throughout Massachusetts excellent police work is being performed. Your job is to look back at the last year (2023), and send in nominations for various acts of Valor, Life Saving, Investigations, Meritorious Service, Community Service and Humanitarian work.

The event is formal attire for those attending. Uniform is optional for the recipients. Dinner will be served.

We will be looking for local businesses to donate to our ad book. This book is printed and given to each attendee, which includes the honorees and a bio of why they've received the award.

We understand some of these incidents that are worthy of an award can be sensitive and departments are reluctant to send the report. Anyone can submit a nomination with the contact information from someone in the department we can speak with.
