| Details: | Prepare your garden for winter while setting the stage for a healthier, more productive spring. This lesson explores what to cut back, what to leave standing for wildlife, what, how and when to plant in fall, and simple ways to protect your soil and perennial plants through the colder months. Participants will also learn how to turn existing garden debris into nutrient-rich mulch, reducing waste while returning organic matter to the garden. This class takes a thoughtful, ecological approach to fall cleanup, working with nature rather than against it. |
