| Details: | Dangus Kong is a 9 piece funk collective from Salt Lake City, Utah. Though every member, aka the Funky Toon Goons, are young they have an extremely impressive professional music resume. The Funky Toon Goons of Dangus Kong have toured all over the U.S.A, Mexico, Cuba, and Europe. Playing in prestigious/world-renowned music festivals such as the Umbria Jazz Festival, Puerto Vallarta Jazz Festival, Croatian International Jazz Festival, The Essentially Ellington Jazz Competition, and The Telluride Jazz Festival. Each member has also performed with a list of elite Grammy-Nominated and Winning musicians such as Wycliffe Gordon, Randy Brecker, Victor Wooten, Kris Johnson, Chris Bullock of Snarky Puppy, Jerry Cortez of Tower of Power, Jeff Coffin and Rashawn Ross of the Dave Mathews Band just to name a few.
