| Details: | Learn directly from forestry and maple experts in our new outdoor Maple Education Center. See how the Native American Indians made maple syrup and help us boil sap outdoors like it was done in colonial times. They are third generation Vermont sugarmakers and your tour will cover the gambit from forest management, to modern sap collection systems, to proper tapping techniques and high vacuum technology.
They provide guided tours in the sugarhouse as well as into their sugarbush. Plenty of parking available with plenty of room for visitors to enjoy their stay while inside the sugarhouse to come in and get warm! Bring your boots, snowshoes or Xcountry skis for a walk in their sugarbush. |
