| Details: | As part of Sudbury 250 Day on May 16th at 1:00 pm the Sudbury Historical Society, in partnership with Freedom's Way National Heritage Area, will present Declaring Independence: Then and Now, a thought-provoking performance about how towns debated the idea of declaring independence from Great Britian in 1776.
Hear what Sudbury had to say from reenactors portraying patriots and residents at First Parish Church, the site where the Declaration of Independence was originally read to its inhabitants in 1776.
