| Details: | On June 3rd, join Bedlam in celebrating Allen Ginsberg, one of the great 20th century American poets, on the occasion of his 100th birthday.
Between 5pm and 6:30pm, pop into the store to view rare Ginsberg books, ephemera, photographs, and to talk all things Beat.
From 6:30pm - 8:30pm, gather for a performance of his music and poetry, which includes a reading of the full text of Howl, the seminal 20th century poem published 70 years ago.
Allens songs will be performed by singer\/songwriter Kevin Keady, and Allens poetry will be read by Bedlams Book Manager, Patrick Warner. Both performers were friends of Allen Ginsberg and knew the poet from the early 1980s until his death in 1997.
