Unite with local small businesses for a fun night for the whole family. Tons of vendors, raffles items, fun with community and so much more.
Join Hot Power Yoga Center and multiple others small businesses in the community for a shop local small business Saturday community night. We will have local artists, crafts, jewelers, apparel, apothecary, handbags, baked goods, plants, accessories, home decor, oils products, spa products, home made beauty products (plant based), coffee products and so much more. You can start your holiday shopping by supporting small businesses in your community.
More importantly, we all donate to a HUGE raffle. 100% of proceeds from the raffle go to our random acts of kindness fund. The random acts of kindness fund was created after Gabriella Lowell was tragically killed walking across the street by a distracted driver. Her story inspired us to spread love, mindfulness and positivity in her honor. Gabriella Lowell was tragically hit and killed by a car in June of 2018. The driver was texting. We want to spread mindfulness in hopes that people will vow to Gabby by not using their cell phone while driving. Being present, like the yoga practice teaches us to be.
We take 100% of money raised and perform random acts of kindness all over Worcester county with a note attached with Gabriella's story, so recipients can be inspired to be both mindful and kind. The letter also asks the recipients to pay it forward in the hopes that we can spread positive energy and love throughout our community throughout the holidays and beyond.
Passed years we bought groceries for random shoppers at Stop and Shop on Grafton Street, brought pizza to the police department, paid for people's laundry at the Laundromat, passed out numerous gift cards to shoppers at Target, bought peoples coffee at Dunkin Donuts, donated to the Veterans shelter, bought gas for people at the gas station, brought BINGO to nursing homes, supported small businesses during covid etc.
So bring some friends for a night of community and love. Get some holiday shopping done while supporting small businesses in your community, while donating to a special cause.
This event is free and open to the public, no need to sign up in advance, simply come and enjoy. |
