Details: | Join us for our January Reception at ArtsWorcester, celebrating the opening of two brand new exhibitions!

ArtsWorcester's West gallery will showcase \"Fusion\", a juried exhibition of solely collaborative works. Every work in this exhibition was created by at least two ArtsWorcester artist members. Works showcased were selected by jurors Brad Chapman Bleau and Stacey Parker, artists and collaborators. Parker is the Director of the Mary Dolphin Cosgrove Art Gallery at Worcester State University, and Chapman Bleau the Curator.
ArtsWorcester's East gallery will showcase three Artist Shoeboxes, each with their own distinct collection. Photographer Mari Saxon showcases fairytale inspired work in \"The Fairy Tale That Was Not Told (Otherworldly Family Album)\", multimedia artist Melody Fortier pays homage to women before her in \"Stories\", and pair Morgan Tartakoff and Karin Cloutier present \"Embracing Neurodiversity\", highlighting their experiences with ADHD and autism.
Prizes will be awarded at the reception by the jurors. A cash bar will be available at the event.
Following the reception, this exhibition will be on view in the galleries through February 16, 2025 every Thursday through Sunday from 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM.
Parking is available at the Worcester Public Library (McGrath) Lot, Federal Plaza Garage, Worcester Common Garage, and Pearl-Elm Garage. Metered street parking is also available. On weekends, and on weekdays after 5:00 PM, visitors may park in the Printers Building parking lot free of charge. Please do not park in the lot across the street from the Printers Building; you will be immediately towed.
