| Details: | All ArtsWorcester artist members are invited to participate in 'Kindred': our fourteenth annual Call and Response collaboration with the Fitchburg Art Museum.
Registration deadline: February 26, 2026, 11:59 PM
Drop off period: March 4 - 8, 2026
Exhibition run: March 18 - May 3, 2026
Family can be by blood, rich with traditions passed down through generations. There are chosen or found families, made up of close, intentional friendships. Common cultures, beliefs, or interests can also make someone feel like family. Though family can bring community and support, it can also be complicated.
Artist members are asked to delve deeply into the theme of family, and respond to one or more artworks on loan from the Fitchburg Art Museum in their own piece.

The Fitchburg Art Museums curatorial staff will select ten works from 'Kindred' by ArtsWorcester artist members to be exhibited at FAM alongside the loaned works after the show. They'll be looking for artworks that embrace the theme, and thoughtfully connect to their loan.
Submitted artworks must correlate in some way to 1-3 artworks from the FAM loan. All media are welcome.
