| Details: | Boyd Meets Girl pairs Australian classical guitarist Rupert Boyd and American cellist Laura Metcalf, performing an eclectic and engaging repertoire, from Debussy and Schubert to the Beatles and Beyoncé. Their on-demand concert, created specifically for Music in Corrales, will be available for ticket buyers to view anytime from Saturday, February 20 through Sunday, February 28. In addition to the concert, ticket purchasers will receive a Virtual Backstage Pass to listen to a conversation recorded February 20th with Rupert and Laura discussing their lives as artists.
Acclaimed soloists in their own right, Rupert and Laura have played to sold-out houses around the world, but the first professional concert together for this husband-and-wife duo was in Albuquerque in 2013. Since then, they have returned to the Land of Enchantment several times, performing as soloists and together in Taos, Santa Fe and Albuquerque, including repeat engagements at Albuquerque’s Chatter chamber music series.
Ticket purchasers will receive their concert ticket link soon after their purchase, along with a link for their Virtual Backstage Pass to the recorded conversation event with Rupert and Laura.
