Altadena to the Palisades: An ultra-marathon relay to rebuild LA. Rebuilding from the wildfires is a marathon, not a sprint. To connect Altadena and the Palisades, Silver Lake Track Club is organizing a fundraiser ultra-marathon relay that takes runners on a 50k journey through LA. Runners can participate as a team of up to 5 or run the full 50k as an individual. This is not a race, but a celebratory run to reflect and re-energize efforts to rebuild the beautiful city of Los Angeles through running. We invite all run clubs and runners to join us in an effort to make a meaningful impact. All funds raised will be donated to local, ongoing fire relief and rebuilding efforts. All runners will receive a commemorative event t-shirt and plenty of aid station support from ASICS and gifts and finish line drinks from BANDIT RUNNING. There is no time limit on this event. Run the route, run your city, your way. This is an unsanctioned event, full event rules and disclosures in sign up waiver.
