| Details: | Since the late 1970s,?Roman?Dial has been traversing Alaska’s peaks, tundra, and rivers using a signature blend of hiking, bicycling, boating, skiing, and ice skating—while also documenting these adventures with a camera. Crossings records over 30 years of changing landscapes, equipment, and approaches to outdoor travel and commemorates some of Alaska’s most well-known characters in the mountaineering and backcountry world. Dial reflects that he owes his creative adventures to “living in a time and a place where like-minded companions, emerging technologies, a can-do attitude, and wild places co-exist.”
