Details: | This workshop covers a wide range of hand papermaking techniques, from learning to beat fiber in a Hollander beater, pigmenting pulps, sheet formation on molds and deckles, as well as experimenting with pulp painting and pulp transfer methods with guest artist Georgia Deal. Participants will make sheets of cotton paper and then pulp paint simple line images and learn how to transfer or print the images onto the freshly made sheet of paper. All materials provided and all experience levels welcome.
