| Details: | American Sign Language (ASL) Classes January 31 - March 7
OVERVIEW
This will be 2 5-week series. One series will be a beginner level sign language class while the other will be an intermediate level class.
GOALS
1. To become familiar with the basic structure of ASL and learn about Deaf culture. 2. To be able to receive and give ASL (receptive and expressive skills) in a conversational format.
3. To develop a sense of fluidity in American Sign Language (Intermediate Level)
MATERIALS
An optional book is recommended for this course, Learn American Sign Language by James Guido (2015). This book is available for purchase at our local bookstore Barnes & Noble, online sellers and for digital download.
