You are invited to join us for the first ever HeruFest: A Pam-Magickal Spring Equinox … More Thelemic New Year Celebration!

While the Spring Equinox is widely celebrated in many Pagan circles, oftentimes under the name of Ostara, it also marks the start of a New Year in Thelema, the magical system founded by Aleister Crowley in 1904 with the reception of Liber AL vel Legis.

To celebrate the Thelemic New Year, Temple of the Conquering Child decided to reach out to the greater occult community here in Colorado in order to host a Pan-Magical New Years Celebration filled with ritual, classes, and feasting!

Hosting the Spring Equinox and Thelemic New Year Celebration are:

Temple of the Conquering Child (Aurora) is an independent Queer Thelemic temple whose focus is to present classes, ritual, and learning resources. T.C.C. approaches Magick and Mysticism from an anti-colonial, humanist approach that values the diversity of Humankind as the key to unlocking True Gnosis.

Dragon Rouge (Glendale) is an international occult order and esoteric academia whose goal is to explore and integrate the Shadow thus transforming it from a destructive principle to a creative principle. Their focus is on Dark Arts, Hexcraft, Sorcery and Erotomysticism as well as a real world connection and dedication to one’s community.

The DiviNation Academy (Denver), is a free online Pagan academy who have hosted the main rituals for Colorado’s The Witches Ball and DragonFest. The Academy is dedicated to educating the community on the various traditions within Paganism, Witchcraft, and Magick.

Crux Ansata Oasis, OTO (Denver) is the local charted body of the famed international Ordo Templi Orientis. The Oasis strives to provide members and guests with dramatic group rituals, classes, and workshops.

Ecclesia Babalon (Pueblo), a devotional order dedicated to the Dark Mother, the goddess Babalon, whose focal point is the crossroads of Gnosticism, Thelema, and Bhakti Yoga.

Between classes, we will be hosting three rituals throughout the day. So far, these are as follows:

2:30 PM - Opening Ritual: A Queer Gardnerian Spring Equinox Rite performed by the DuoLuna Coven.

5:00 PM - Midday Ritual: Liber V vel Reguli; An invocation of the energies of the New Aeon by Soror V.I.T.R.I.O.L. of Crux Ansata OTO

8:00 PM - Closing Ritual: Liber CXXVIII: A New Æonic Mass from Temple of the Conquering Child

Our vendors include 3 Ravens Metaphysical Shoppe, Pent-a-Gram Crystals Woodwork, Buzick Magick Supply Co, and The DiviNation Academy. We will also be hosting Tarot Readings by Michael Dockins as well as Limpias by Charlie Mendez. Food will be provided as well.
