Details: | The focus is on learning single tap steps, then incorporating the steps into a series of combinations. It is so much fun, and easy to pick up. Tap dance is for any age, but is a perfect dance style to learn as an adult.
It is a great workout, strengthening the legs and feet, while increasing mobility in the hips, knees, and ankles. It improves balance and coordination. It is also extremely beneficial to cognitive functioning.
Dress Code: Tap shoes recommended but not required to get started. Wear a shoe with a low hard heal or sneakers. Comfortable clothing.
