Details: | Have you experienced healing through your yoga practice and want to explore it more?
Are you active and on-the-go and know ya need to slow down?
Will you allow yourself to commit to self-care by regularly practicing yin, meditation, breathwork, chanting and other energy medicine practices?
Do you want to love, support, educate and lead classes full of people seeking alternatives to the western therapeutic approach?
Do you want to inspire your students to tend to themselves and their families in ways that affect generations?
WHO IS THIS FOR? This is an invitation for all yoga students and teachers into your inner space. It's for those who can no longer deny the call to explore, experience - and perhaps even evangelize - the profound power of stillness. Using the Baptiste methodology as a framework, it is a journey into our power through the stillness found within the practices of Yin Yoga, breathwork, meditation, inquiry chanting and other energy medicines.
It is for those who have moved too fast and done too much and find themselves exhausted, out of energy and out of balance. It's for those who need to shift it down a couple gears and drop-in to self-care.
It training is for anyone who desires a deeper connection and conversation with their true Self as an energetic, spiritual being having a beautiful, baffling human experience. It’s for those who want to see beyond the veil and look into the eyeballs of the Divine as it moves through them - as them. It’s for those who know in the center of their chest they have been wholly called forth to rebirth ancient and sacred wisdom into the world. If you do not wish to teach and simply desire to deepen your knowledge and expand your experiences, you are absolutely welcome to grab your pool noodle and jump into the waters of this training!
? WHAT WILL WE BE DOING? WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE? Stilling, moving, meditating, praying, playing, humming, chanting, laughing, crying, breathing and being
We will be practicing a lot of yin, discussing our experiences and insights from practice, and practice teaching with feedback. We will engage in lecture and discussions, individual explorations, pair, small group and large group sharing, and doing exercises. We will be learning from and teaching each other all the time.
We will be engaging in wisdom practices to clean up the debris and emotional backwash that clouds our consciousness. During this time, you will commit to take care of your divine-ass self and engage in daily physical, energetic and emotional hygiene.
We will be examining the physiology and philosophy of Yin as inspired by Paul Grilley and Bernie Clark. In each of the modules we will be focusing on a chakra using both Carolyn Myss and Anodea Judith's teachings.
You will leave this training with a deeply connection yourself and your yoga practice and feel confident in your ability to lead impactful Yin classes using the Baptiste methodology.
