| Details: | A community-building workshop grounded in herbalism, crystals/gems, tea, and crafts. All ages.
Spellbound is a series bringing you opportunities to share in community and healing. Each four-part class will include:
- A short lesson on herbalism and crystal and gem identification and properties. You'll learn about a couple of different herbs/plants/flowers/spices and crystals or gems, what they look like, how to identify them, how they are useful, their healing properties, and what kinds of spells and rituals they work best for.
- There will also be a tea provided for everyone to enjoy. Participants are welcome to bring their own drinks and snacks, as well. Alcohol purchased from the Lounge (when available) is permitted, however, participants must be mindful that this is a family-friendly event. Excessive drinking is not allowed.
- A craft workshop will be included each session, too. All supplies will be provided, and you get to take home a creation each class!
- Each class will end with an open-floor conversation and sharing where we will be able to bring our own cards, crystals, talismans, etc. We can share about our own experiences, talents, gifts, and even businesses! We can teach each other how we do readings, grounding techniques for meditation and mindfulness, different spells that we know of, etc.
Classes will last up to 3 hours and may end early depending on everyone's energy. Register each month for a new experience! Hosted by Sandy Nguyen.
All materials are provided for these classes. Please bring the following optional items:
- Any items/gems/talismans, etc. you'd like to share
- Water/drinks (preferably in spill-proof containers)
- Layered clothing, as the temperatures can fluctuate in our large building
