| Details: | Unity Theatre presents "The Game’s Afoot, or Holmes for the Holidays", a murder-mystery comedy by Ken Ludwig, playing on the Main Stage November 30 – December 17, 2023.
It is December, 1936, and Broadway star William Gillette, admired the world over for his leading role in the play Sherlock Holmes, has invited his fellow cast members to his Connecticut castle for a weekend of revelry. But when one of the guests is killed, the festivities in this isolated house of tricks and mirrors quickly turn dangerous. It is then up to Gillette himself, as he assumes the persona of his beloved Sherlock Holmes, to track down the killer before the next victim appears. The danger and hilarity are non-stop in this glittering whodunit set during the Christmas holidays.
Ticket are $30; $15 for students; and any remaining seats are $15 fifteen minutes prior to curtain. There is also a Preview performance on Thursday, November 30 and those tickets are $23.
There is a Talk Back with the cast and crew immediately following the Preview performance on Thursday, November 30; and a Director’s Chat just prior to the performance on Saturday, December 9.
