Panagea World Beat is a new genre bending ensemble based out of the Nest Arts Factory in Bridgeport, CT. Founded by percussionist Kris Studebaker and musical director Nicholas Yost, Pangaea World Beat strives to push our boundaries as musicians and explore musical stylings from each continent over a heavy, body enveloping groove. Our collective of musicians include drummer Kris “The Booty Shaker” Studebaker, keyboardist Nick Yost, guitarist Matt McNulty, Bassist Brian Anderson, Percussionists Will Diaz and Sam Mendez, and brothers Jacob and David Raccuia on Saxophone and Trumpet. We recognize music as an underlying force for peace and cultural understanding, and are very excited to bring our ethnomusicological incubator to the Park City Stage March 18th, 2023.
