| Details: | Learn burlesque movements such as bumps, shimmies, and grinds in this fun and flirty class. Through leveled technique inspired warm-ups, movement practice, and a choreographed routine youll explore this stellar art form and hone your burlesque style. Come learn the tools of the tease in a welcoming environment while we build confidence, explore intention, and practice mindful movement as part of the building blocks of burlesque performance and\/or for personal enjoyment.
This class is geared for the individual who has an interest in burlesque movement or those seasoned performers wanting to take a refresher. Class is for anyone age 18 +. Burlesque is for all bodies and gender identities. Dress in comfortable clothes you can move in with bare feet, socks, or shoes you would like to work in if standing. There will be some floorwork for those who like to wear knee pads and we will be working with glove removal if you have a pair you would like to bring. No gloves, no problem!
